Gas shielded welding machine operating precautions

What should we pay attention to when operating this welding machine? When moving the gas shielded welding machine, the vulnerable electronic equipment in the machine should be taken out and moved separately.

The contactor in the welding machine, the working components of the breaker, the clamping force of the welding gun chuck, the nozzle and the insulation performance of the nozzle, etc., should be checked regularly. Always pay attention to the wear of the contact tip and the storage of the welding wire to prevent rust.

If excessive sparks are found in the motor, it should be repaired in time. When a high-frequency arc welding machine or high-frequency arc ignition device is installed, the welding cable should have a copper mesh braided shield and be reliably grounded. After the operation of the gas shielded welding machine is completed, it is forbidden to touch the conductive tip of the welding gun with your hands immediately to avoid burns.

When an electric heater is used to fully oxidize the liquid carbon dioxide in the carbon dioxide cylinder, the welding machine must use a standard input voltage, which should be lower than 36V; the outer casing must be grounded reliably. Cut off the power and air supply immediately after work is completed.

Use it in an environment that will not seriously affect the insulation performance of the welding machine or cause corrosion; the high-pressure gas cylinder containing the protective gas should be placed upright and fixed with care to prevent tipping. The distance between the gas cylinder and the heat source should be greater than 3 m.

The welding handle and welding gun should be handled with care; the welding machine should be dusted and maintained regularly (one month), including the wire feeding hose; during the continuous welding process, the welding slag in the nozzle should be cleaned at any time. The operator must select the welding current and voltage according to the process requirements.
